On March 11th, 2021 at an online ceremony for the national Professional Adviser Awards, Lonsdale Services won the Best Advisor firm for Vulnerable Client Care. Adviser firms were asked to enter, ‘who have gone above and beyond to make sure their more vulnerable clients have felt reassured and financially safe.’
The Lonsdale Mortgages broking team based in St Albans works closely with the independent financial advisers at Lonsdale Services, as Lonsdale Mortgages is a division of Lonsdale Services.

The Professional Adviser Awards - national financial service awards
Professional Adviser provides an information service for UK based regulated financial advisers. The Professional Adviser awards are well-respected national financial services awards and are now in their 17th year. The Best Advisor firm for Vulnerable Client Care is a new award for 2021. Other winners in 2021 included Liontrust, A J Bell Investcentre, Legal & General and Standard Life.

‘At Lonsdale Mortgages we teach our mortgage advisors how to differentiate between permanent and temporary vulnerability, and how to determine if someone is living in vulnerable circumstances. Lonsdale Services was the first Hertfordshire financial adviser to become a corporate partner of the Alzheimer’s Society. We launched a ten-point plan to help anyone living with dementia and we fundraised for the charity, raising £5,000. We also recently produced a Lonsdale Financial Passport to make it easier for clients to keep their financial information in one place.
