Independent mortgage advice from Lonsdale Mortgage brokers

After deciding which mortgage type is right for you we review the whole of the mortgage market, searching through hundreds of products to find you the right mortgage product for your circumstances. We take all the hassle and stress out of choosing your mortgage.

We also manage your entire application for you - taking you through the whole mortgage process all the way to completion.

The Lonsdale Mortgage process

  1. Call our Lonsdale mortgage brokers on 01727 845500 or email ku.oc.segagtromeladsnol@seiriuqne and have an initial consultation with a Lonsdale mortgage broker so our mortgage advisers can find the right type of mortgage for you.
  2. After assessing your circumstances and researching the whole market, we’ll select the right mortgage for you.
  3. We will work with you and guide you through the application process and act as your central point of contact.
  4. Your application will be forwarded to your chosen lender for an agreement in principle. To do this, the lender will carry out a credit search or credit score and your application will have to be vetted by an underwriter. (You will have to show us documentation that the lender requires in order to complete the mortgage as the lender requires us to certify we have seen originals.  For example P60’s, accounts if you are self-employed, your passport for ID.  See Documents required)
  5. Once the agreement in principal has been received, the costs of the valuation and the booking fee (if any) for the mortgage you have chosen will be debited from your credit card. You will receive a Key Facts Illustration (KFI)/European Standardised Information Sheet (ESIS) with the details of your chosen mortgage.
  6. Our mortgage brokers will submit a fully completed application form to the lender.
  7.  Your Lonsdale Mortgage broker will liaise with your lender so we manage the application process and keep you updated with real-time information via email or phone.
  8. Once the lender is satisfied all requirements of your application have been fulfilled i.e. underwriting and valuation/survey, your mortgage offer will be sent to you and your appointed solicitor by post.  At this point your solicitor normally manages the mortgage process but your Lonsdale Mortgage broker is always available to assist with queries to help you successfully complete on your new home.
