How Lonsdale Mortgages helps get your mortgage approved

Call a Lonsdale mortgage broker now so we can help process your mortgage quickly. We work with first-time buyers, home movers wanting to re-mortgage or anyone requiring a commercial mortgage for a buy-to-let property.

Lonsdale mortgages do not typically charge a fee for their services as we receive commission from the provider except in instances where we organise additional borrowing for clients with their existing lender, as some providers do not offer commission.

Why take mortgage advice?

Regardless of whether you are looking to purchase your first home, or you are remortgaging the mortgage process is always complicated. Call us on 01727 845500 for mortgage advice so we can assess your financial circumstances and advise you on how much money you can borrow before you start looking at houses to purchase.

Take mortgage advice even if you are re-mortgaging

If you are remortgaging check the whole mortgage market for the best available mortgage deal.  Even if you are remortgaging we can offer mortgage advice. It is easy to stay with the same lender when your mortgage matures, but this is not always the best or cheapest option available to you.

How to find the right mortgage for you?

When you find a house to buy or if you are remortgaging we can assess the mortgage market and recommend the best mortgage product available to you. This includes variable rate mortgages, fixed rate mortgages, discount rate mortgaeges or capped rate mortgage products. After we agree the most suitable type of mortgage product for you, we assess the mortgage market for the best available rate.

Completing the mortgage application form

Completing the Mortgage application form is time-consuming; however, our mortgage brokers are used to completing these forms. We will ask you for the following documents.

Proof of income

Anyone who is employed will need to supply their latest monthly payslips. Some lenders want to see up to three months’ worth of payslips and the most recent P60. The lenders will also require the last three months’ bank statements.

If you are self-employed you will need to supply up to three months’ worth of bank statements. Also, you must provide your company accounts or tax calcuations for the last three years.

Proof of identity and residency

We will need to see a current driving license or passport to confirm your identity. We can check proof of your address either through a utility bill, council tax bill or bank/ credit card statement.  All these address documents must be dated within the last three months.

Deposit for house purchase

We must also see proof of your deposit from your savings statements.
